Acceptable Use Policy

AgentEnrich is a B2B developer API and SaaS platform. Every account holder must agree to and follow this AUP. Violations are grounds for immediate suspension. This policy applies to all use of the API, MCP server, dashboard, and any client integrating with AgentEnrich.

Permitted use

Build software products that use AgentEnrich for: account research and qualification, deduplication of internal CRM records, enrichment of inbound trial signups, candidate sourcing for recruiting, investor sourcing, partnership discovery, due diligence, market mapping, and other legitimate B2B workflows. Integrate the API into AI agent applications under your own end-user agreements and applicable law.

Prohibited use

You may not use AgentEnrich to:

• Send unsolicited commercial email, SMS, voice calls, or other automated outreach that violates CAN-SPAM, TCPA, GDPR e-Privacy Directive, or any applicable anti-spam law in the recipient's jurisdiction.
• Build, sell, or operate a service whose primary purpose is producing or distributing bulk contact lists, scraping tools, or "leads" databases for unsolicited marketing.
• Process or look up data about minors, or data about identifiable individuals outside a professional B2B context (e.g. personal home address, personal phone, family information, health, finances, political opinions, religious beliefs, or any GDPR special category).
• Re-sell or re-distribute raw response data to third parties as a substantive part of your offering, except as an integrated feature of a multi-feature product where the data lookup is performed by the API on behalf of the end-user's authenticated session.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to bypass our rate limits, suppression list, or any access controls.
• Operate in any of the prohibited industries listed in our processor's AUP (adult content, illegal goods, regulated financial advice without licenses, etc.).
• Use AgentEnrich to build, train, or operate: pyramid / MLM schemes, telemarketing or robo-dial operations, SMS marketing platforms targeting consumers, social-media automation tools that violate platform terms, political-campaign micro-targeting, deep-fake / face-swap / voice-impersonation services, essay mills, doxxing / dossier services on private individuals, surveillance or stalkerware, spyware / keyloggers, unauthorized resale of third-party software licenses, or any fortune-telling / pseudo-science offering claiming verifiable outcomes.
• Use AgentEnrich for any product or service that is prohibited or restricted by our merchant of record, Paddle. See the Paddle Acceptable Use Policy — by purchasing through AgentEnrich you also agree not to use the service for any category Paddle prohibits.

Compliance responsibilities of the developer / end-user

When you call AgentEnrich and act on the returned data, you are the data controller for that downstream processing. You must:

• Have a lawful basis for contacting any individual whose record you receive (typically GDPR Article 6(1)(f) legitimate interest for B2B prospecting).
• Honor opt-out, unsubscribe, and CAN-SPAM / GDPR / CCPA / TCPA / Canadian Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) requirements in your downstream messaging.
• Maintain your own suppression list and respect it. Receiving a record from AgentEnrich does not authorize you to contact the person.
• Provide a privacy notice to your end-users that describes use of third-party enrichment data.

Suppression list

If a person requests removal at [email protected], their record is added to our global suppression list within 7 days. Future API calls referencing that person return a "suppressed" response with no data. You may not attempt to bypass suppression by using alternate identifiers (a suppressed record can be flagged by any of LinkedIn URL, work email, name + employer).

Data provenance

All data is sourced from licensed upstream B2B data providers operating under their own consent and compliance frameworks. We do not scrape, intercept, or access data without authorization. We do not purchase data from breaches or leaks. We do not maintain consumer/personal data, only B2B/professional context data.

Enforcement

Violations may result in: warning, rate-limit reduction, plan downgrade, immediate suspension, account termination, refund denial, and where applicable, referral to law enforcement. We may suspend any account whose downstream use generates a material volume of complaints, bounce-rate spikes against major email providers, or upstream-data-provider notifications.

Reporting abuse

If you believe an AgentEnrich customer is using our service to violate this policy or contact you without lawful basis, email [email protected] with the relevant details. We investigate within 5 business days.

Changes

We may update this AUP from time to time. Continued use of the service after we publish a new version constitutes acceptance. Material changes are emailed to all active account holders 14 days in advance.
